Fresno Philharmonic

Situation

The Fresno Philharmonic was experiencing a declining donor base and fundraising goals met only through extraordinary giving, and they wanted to better understand their patron base and historical trends to plan for fundraising growth. Although savvy and knowledgeable about their database, limited staff resources prompted them to reach out to RSC Associates for help in analyzing their donors and patrons history and relationships.

Result

RSC Associates worked with Fresno Philharmonic on a Revenue Results Review, a data analysis that reviews 5 years of donation revenue, households, and gift averages to identify positive trends to build on, areas of caution to address, and opportunities for growth. In addition, RSC's Patron Investment Ranking, an analysis and segmentation that ranks patrons based on their donation, subscription and single ticket histories, gives the Fresno Philharmonic a simple tool to prioritize patrons for cultivation and solicitation activities that will result in fundraising growth.

What the Client Said

“As we entered the 2023-24 season, the Fresno Philharmonic wanted to take a step back to better understand our donors and patrons, rather than just move forward with plans like it was 2019. Engaging RSC helped us better understand our patron data and trends, allowing us to refocus and find a path that makes sense for us now.”
