Breck Create

Situation

Following the cancelations during the pandemic, and a changing market for a traditional Festival Orchestra model, Breck Create (then Breckenridge Music) envisioned AirStage, a converted Airstream Ambassador Travel Trailer to accommodate a stage. AirStage was about connecting people - residents and visitors - in a small-scale, mountain town way. While everyone remained eager to return to grand performances, the AirStage would provide something that the community might not otherwise have access to. Performances included neighborhood block parties, artist residencies, and musical concerts of all sorts.

Result

. Breckenridge Music partnered with RSC’s Virtual Fundraising Coach™ service to launch a Capital Campaign for this initiative, and together developed a campaign plan, campaign leadership, and a focused Case for Support. Through these efforts, funding was secured for Breckenridge Music’s Airstage initiative in just 90 days. Then, as part of an organizational merger, the newly established Breck Create engaged RSC to lead a strategic planning process developing an organizational Case for Support and establishing a comprehensive fundraising program. As a result of RSC Associates’ guidance, Breck Create hired its first full time fundraising staff and met its first year fundraising goals, including new corporate and foundation gifts, and a successful challenge gift to grow $1,000+ individual giving in Summit County.
